Soft building and sensory play – Jelly Blox welcomes the new Lil’ Jellies range for babies
Goliath’s Jelly Blox combines construction and sensory play with soft, squeezable building blocks. In autumn 2026, the Jelly world expands with Lil’ Jellies, a brand-new range designed for babies, while Jelly Blox introduces new play worlds from a castle and train to a jungle.
Soft, tactile play for different stages of childhood
Jelly Blox is designed especially for young builders from the age of 2, but the tactile nature of the blocks also seems to appeal to much older children. This was clearly visible at the Child Fair at Messukeskus Helsinki in April 2026, where not only toddlers but also school-aged children – even those around 10 years old – stopped to try Jelly Blox. Many initially came over for a quick look but ended up staying and playing for considerably longer.
Early childhood education professionals also showed interest in Jelly Blox. Sensory materials, hands-on activities and the innovative combination of construction and sensory play were recurring themes in our conversations.
A building block that is not just for building – it is made to be explored
The idea behind Jelly Blox is simple, yet clearly different from traditional building blocks: construction and sensory play come together in one toy.
The blocks can be stacked and connected to create different structures, but they can also be squeezed, stretched, twisted and explored by touch. Some of the blocks contain different sensory materials, such as sand, beads, foam balls, stars and other small elements. This gives the blocks different tactile qualities and adds a sensory dimension to construction play.
Stacking, squeezing, stretching and twisting help practise fine motor skills. Building can also encourage language and imaginative play: children can name colours and shapes, talk about their creations and invent their own stories around them.
Jelly Blox has also received international recognition. Jelly Blox Truck Kit (EAN 8720077316942) won the 2025 Årets Småbarnleksak award in Sweden’s Årets Leksak competition. The jury highlighted the soft, flexible blocks with different fillings and the multidimensional play experience they offer: the stretchy blocks are enjoyable to squeeze and fun to build with.
Autumn novelties take Jelly Blox into new play worlds
The Jelly Blox range expands in autumn 2026 with three new themed sets. The novelties add characters and imaginative storytelling to the sensory construction experience.
Jelly Blox Bouncy Castle (EAN 8720077376847) includes 45 pieces for creating a castle in beautiful pastel colours. The set comes with four characters as well as squeezable, transparent blocks filled with sensory elements including foam balls, super sand, diamonds and stars.
Jelly Blox Squishy Train Set (EAN 8720077376854) includes a locomotive and two wagons that can be loaded with different types of cargo. The set also includes six characters and five crates. The squeezable blocks contain sensory elements including foam balls, carrots and apples.
Jelly Blox Jungle Set (EAN 8720077375321) invites young builders to create their own jungle world and invent adventures for the included animal characters. The set includes four animal characters together with themed and core blocks. The blocks contain sensory elements including foam balls, super sand and oranges.
The pieces in the new sets are compatible with other Jelly Blox sets. The products are easy to clean and free from BPA and PVC. Age recommendation: 2+.
Lil’ Jellies brings the Jelly concept to babies’ first play experiences
In autumn 2026, Jelly Blox welcomes a completely new baby toy range: Lil’ Jellies. The range brings the soft, squeezable and sensory qualities familiar from Jelly products to classic toys designed for babies. The first Lil’ Jellies collection includes three toys designed for babies from 6 months onwards. Soft shapes, different textures and fillings, stacking and shape sorting provide plenty to explore through hands-on play. The products are easy to clean and free from BPA and PVC. Age recommendation: 6 months+.
Lil’ Jellies Jelly Stacker (EAN 8720077378377) reinvents the classic stacking ring toy. Instead of hard, clunky rings, it features four colourful, donut-shaped rings that are soft and squeezable. Inside are different sensory elements, including ribbons, rings, foam balls and super sand. Babies can stack, squeeze and explore the rings with their hands.
Lil’ Jellies Jelly Bus (EAN 8720077378391) combines a classic push-and-roll vehicle, shape sorting and sensory play. The soft bus comes with three shape blocks – a star, circle and triangle – that fit into openings in the side of the bus. The blocks are filled with super sand, foam balls and stars.
Lil’ Jellies Jelly Fire Truck (EAN 8720077378414) follows the same concept in the form of a fire truck. It includes triangle, circle and square shape blocks that fit into openings in the side of the vehicle. Inside the blocks are sensory elements including tiny helmets, foam balls and super sand.
